Fernando Torres put in a splendid performance at Anfield today. This was also his fourth Liverpool hat-trick and the third he has scored in the Premier League. His contest with the Hull defence was embarrassingly one-sided, which was a sign of visiting back four's ineptitude. We can sense an element of desperation when the 18-year-old Liam Cooper was handed a league debut against Liverpool
In the meantime, it is great to rattle six goals past any team managed by Phil Brown!
Phil Brown, the Hull manager, was angry when his side had been resoundingly outclassed.
“People will say Torres was the difference between the two sides but I thought we gifted them the goals,” he said after the match. “To come out in the second half and throw away a third goal and give up our position was disgusting.”-ESPN
