Estonian keeper Mart Poom has announced that he has also been offered the opportunity to work with the Arsenal women's team as a coach.

Jerie Paton,the Gunners’ current goalkeeping coach is recovering from surgery and Poom has been offered the chance to stand in for 4 months.

Poom says "In addition, I have been offered the chance to coach the women's team,” when interviewed by Uefa’s official website. “I'm still in good physical shape, but Wenger has decided to prepare for the future.”

I am completely baffled after reading this Setanta report.

According to Setanta Sports- Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has confirmed that managing United is something that he is keen to try when his acting career is over..

This is not news because he had expressed desire to return to Man Utd to coach before. In 2008, he had revealed that he fancied the idea of helping out with the coaching at United. He wanted to produce a team in his style with the help of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Cantona was a winner for Manchester United and the Reds were a winner for the mercurial Frenchman. He is a legend and will surely be a popular appointment with the fans.

However the ambiguity of his temperament may make some people frown if he is appointed as a Manchester United coach.
