I watched Ferdinand's stoppage time own goal with a distinct sense of déjà vu. The lucky Devils once again scored a late goal to eke out a 2-2 draw against Sunderland.

Berbatov's spectacular overhead kick goal was probably the only bright spot in United's game. His wonder goal had at least breathe some life into the anaemic attack.

It had looked promising for Tottenham, taking a 2-0 lead at half time. Who would have thought that Manchester United is able to put in such a strong showing in the second half to win 5-2 at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Rooney scored a brace each to give United a comfortable victory. Dimitar Berbatov added a fifth against his former club to put the seal on a remarkable turnaround and put the champions three points clear of Liverpool with one game in-hand.

It had been especially significant for Berbatov who was under fire for his poor display against Everton in the FA Cup semi - finals. Tevez had a relatively quiet game today. Both players are running low on confidence and form.
