Video: Adebayor Taunting The Arsenal Fans!!

Yes they are not Millwall fans. Adebayor would be nothing more than a brutally murdered corpse right now if he was in the 'den'.

Adebayor had earlier commented that, “Arsenal have a lot of fans who are not fans.”

“Arsenal have fans from America and Jamaica. Today they are Arsenal fans, tomorrow they will be Liverpool fans and after tomorrow they will be Manchester United fans.”

Is there any element of truth in what Adebayor had said??

Video Highlights: Manchester City Vs Arsenal 4-2, The Merceneries Won!

Arsenal's "top four" credentials is questioned once again after a crunching defeat by Manchester City.

Should we castigate Arsene Wenger's youth and transfer policy again?

Video: Szombathelyi Haladas 0 - Arsenal 5, A Victory Against Hungarian Minnows

In the 2008/09 season Haladás reached the best rank ever in the history of the team. They were third in the Hungarian league in 2008/09 season. Though we can hardly consider Szombathelyi Haladás tough oppositions but it is still good to see Arsenal win by 5 goals yesterday.

Haladás is easy meat so I am not reading too much into the result. Arsenal FC will struggle this season if the morale in the dressing room remains poor.

Fiorentina's defensive midfielder Felipe Melo had a fabulous 2008/09 Serie A season. Inter and Arsenal are both link with a 15 million pounds transfer for the Brazilian.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is believed to be in the hunt for a defensive midfielder and could see Melo as an ideal acquisition. The defensive midfield role has never been adequately filled after Gilberto left.

As often happens in these cases, transfer rumors surrounding Melo have been circulating.

Felipe Melo is currently playing in the Confederations Cup with Brazil. See Felipo Melo's sublime goal against USA in the Confederations Cup.

Video:Thomas Vermaelen's First Arsenal Interview

We have all been interviewed for jobs. And, we have all spent most of those interviews thinking about what to say..

Come to think of it, it is not as hard as we thought. Just look pretty and say nice things about your bosses!

In the interview, Thomas Vermaelen said, "I am very proud to be here, in one of the greatest club in the world. Everyone wants to be here and i am very proud to be here."

At £10 million, Vermaelen, 23, is the most expensive central defenders Wenger has signed at Arsenal. He is a versatile player and can operate as a left back, but is much better where it counts most, in central defense. Wenger will need him to shore up a leaky defence.

Hope he does well next season!

Video: Dentinho Linked To Arsenal, Man Utd, Real, Juventus

Dentinho, according to his agent Ferhat Ciftci, is wanted by Juventus, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester United. Corinthians' forward Dentinho would prefer a move to EPL.

Ferhat Ciftci revealed that Corinthians has received bids for the talented 20 years old forward bids and a transfer fee is being discussed.

He said, “They want too much money for Dentinho, so the club who are willing to pay that kind of money will land the player.

“The real question is 'show me the money!'

“He is a great talent. Another great Brazilian talent. A very good technical player who is good on the ball. The fans will love him in England, the public will worship him. A little bit like Cristiano Ronaldo.”- sport.co.uk exclusive.

Incredible. Are your prospects turned on by your sales pitch?

If not, you might brighten your sales picture by switching to more convincing words.

Watch Dentinho in the video. He is very lethal in the box...

Mart Poom To Coach Arsenal Women's Team. Part Of Wenger's Preparation For The Future

According to Setanta-

Estonian keeper Mart Poom has announced that he has also been offered the opportunity to work with the Arsenal women's team as a coach.

Jerie Paton, the Gunners’ current goalkeeping coach is recovering from surgery and Poom has been offered the chance to stand in for 4 months.

Poom says "In addition, I have been offered the chance to coach the women's team,” when interviewed by Uefa’s official website. “I'm still in good physical shape, but Wenger has decided to prepare for the future.”

I am completely baffled after reading this Setanta report.

He mentioned that he is part of Wenger's preparation for the future.Mart Poom a player/coach? Does Arsene Wenger plan to play Mart Poom at some point next season?

According to Sport.co.uk- Wolfsburg's tough tackling midfielder and captain Josue is going to sign for Arsenal. He had been performing a defensive function in the Brazil national team and should make him a useful addition to the squad.

Since Josue is almost 30 years old, his transfer to Gunners should bring a smile to many 'out of order' Gunners' shareholders.

Personal Details:
DOB: 1979-07-19
Age: 29
POB: Vitoria de Santo Antao, Brazil
Height: 5'8

Video of Hector Moreno, Arsenal's Messiah???

Arsenal have been scouting AZ Alkmaar's championship winning squad and Héctor Moreno is one of the players the Gunners are expected to bid for.-according to fansfc

6 million pounds will seal the move.

A 21 year old Mexican? I don't rate this rumour since Wenger is looking for proven quality. Signing a young boy will not add experience to the team.

With a fair number of fans eager to make Wenger's youth policy a scapegoat for recent poor showing, it is unlikely that Arsenal will bid for Hector.

I have included a video featuring Héctor Moreno..

Video Report: Arsenal 1 Chelsea 4. Great Game

Mathematically impossible for title contention, both sides were essentially playing for pride. It was drama on drama, with both teams eager to bounce back from mid week CL disappointment.

A 1-4 thumping by Chelsea was a particularly cruel result for Arsenal who have enjoyed a 21 game unbeaten run in the league.

For the second time in a week, Arsenal were humiliated in Emirates stadium. Again, Wenger and his men took another harsh lesson in football, this one reminding them dominance counts for nothing if you can't put the ball in the net.

Arsenal 1 (Bendtner 70)
Chelsea 4 (Alex 28, Anelka 39, Toure og 49, Malouda 86)

Video Report: Manchester United Beat Arsenal In style, 3-1 in CL Semi

When Cristiano Ronaldo scored United's 3rd goal, Arsenal fans were trooping out of the stadium. The players needed the fan's support. But I am afraid that their memory will be that of their backs walking away in their moment of need.

3-1, Manchester United had won with style. Park Ji-Sung and Cristiano Ronaldo(2) are United's scorers.

Manchester United reached the Champions League final with a 4-1 aggregate win over Arsenal and will face either Barcelona or Chelsea in the Finals.
Robin van Persie slammed in a consolation penalty for the Gunners.

Video Report Arsenal Vs Liverpool 4-4 Thriller

Andrei Arshavin puts 4 pass Reina in a 4-4 thriller at Anfield. Liverpool's title took a severe dent after a draw against the Gunners. Though they still lead the table, Manchester United who are in second have 2 games in hand.

Arshavin is Arsenal's hero with 4 goals. Scored on the 36th, 67th, 70th, 90th minute.

Fernando Torres and Yossi Benayoun have 2 goals each.

It is a joy to watch Liverpool match these days. You are almost guaranteed of many goals..

Video Report Arsenal vs Chelsea 1-2 FA Cup Semi

DIDIER Drogba scored on the 84th minute yesterday to give Chelsea a 2-1 win over Arsenal and a place in next month's FA Cup final.

Arsenal's defense had been vulnerable all night. Arsenal's Lukasz Fabianski had a poor game and it did not help when his team mates were shoddy in their defensive work.

The second goal that Arsenal conceded was not totally Lukasz Fabianski's fault. It was the right decision to rush out from his area to challenge Drogba.

He was just unlucky that Drogba was slightly faster than him to reach the ball and was very composed in front of goal.

Wenger said "He's a great goalkeeper but it was not his greatest day. Inexperience, yes. It was a game when any mistake could be costly."

Chelsea will face either Manchester United or Everton in the FA Cup Finals.

Video Report Aston Villa 1 West Ham 1

Emile Heskey looked set to lead Villa to its first win in 11 games until a late West Ham equaliser by Diego Tristan on 84th minute.

Aston Villa had been dominant throughout the match, but they were not able to convert the many chances created.

It means Villa are still seven points adrift of fourth-placed Arsenal who also have one match at hand.

Virtually impossible for Villa to qualify for Champions League football next season now.

Video: Manuel Pellegrini , Hang on to your seat!

Manuel Pellegrini missed his chair at the Emirates..

But who can blame him..

They were facing an in-form Gunners team with Theo Walcott particularly impressive on the right.

Villareal had been outplayed by Arsenal all day and had to settle for a 3-0 loss to Arsenal.

Wenger Is Confident Of CL Semi Final Progress

Wenger is delighted with his side's performance last night against Villarreal. The away goal means a scoreless draw or any sort of win at home will see them through.

Wenger says "It puts us in a great position, but we want to qualify at home and to repeat the type of performance we did in the second half," he said.

"I am confident, the quality we have shown added to the mental strength and desire we have shown.

But we know Villarreal are a good team as well, so we will be on our toes and focused at Emirates.

“This team has shown the whole season they are mentally very strong and when they have back to the wall, these young players always find an answer which is very interesting for a young team.

"I believe we have created momentum. We are a very young team, but are capable to focus.

"We have shown with the consistency we have in the championship that we are able to concentrate every three days, and at that age, that is a big quality."

Arsenal did not play exceptionally well and deserve to lose the game rather than stealing a draw. But in soccer it is the result that really matters.

Arsenal is enjoying a huge slice of luck these days. Their heroics on the pitch has mesmerized every Arsenal fan. Good results sees them overtake Villa and in pole position to take the fourth spot in the English Premier League.

And it was only a few months ago when there were a lot of fans who wanted Wenger to be sacked. Adebayor was the least popular player in Arsenal because of his desire to leave.

But this is soccer. It is easy to forget your misgivings when you produce good results.

Adebayor With An Outrageous Goal

Adebayor scores an outrageous bicycle kick against Villareal. The Champions League match between Arsenal and Villareal last night ended 1-1.

The Togolese controlled the ball with his chest and with zero hesitation, performed an acrobatic bicycle kick. The flight of the ball stunned Diego Lopez who looked helpless as the ball bulged the net.
